Did a strength workout, but I forget the details by this point. There was definitely rings supports, rings PPPU, and assisted cross pull-outs. Also, some OAHS practice and rice bucket work for the fingers.
Aside from that, I can't remember, but it was pretty run-of-the-mill.
Oh yeah, and I went to one of them CrossFit joints earlier in the afternoon and jumped in on one of their free workouts. As I expected, it was a waste of time, metro fare, and calories.
I hardly even pushed myself (RPE of maybe 6/10), yet still "scored" better than 3/4ths the class - because, you know, workouts are a competition and everyone's keeping score.
And, by the way, to improve your score, you should do shoddy reps with limited range and sloppy technique. Especially with burpees, since they're hard - rather than do the hard work, you should "game the system" make them as easy as possible. Bull.
Yep. At least those gyms are helping turn some people towards real sports and training... but the rest of them get debilitating injuries.
